Christine Wade
Musical storytelling has resonated with me since I was a child. The idea that music could make us feel something without saying a word was almost magical, and I have been forever drawn to what music has to offer in our lives.
Now, many years later, I've found a way to make that bit of magic my career. Along with a small and committed team of artists, I helped to create Theatre Elision and bring Elision Playhouse to life. Through this group, I work to create space for women on stage, and bring incredible music to life.
An obvious standout for me was Christine Wade, performer and vocal director of the show. She appears in four of the six musicals, playing vastly different characters in each one. Her acting is nearly infallible. After watching her tonight, I’m convinced there isn’t a character she couldn’t play. And her voice? To die for.
